Lois was united into marriage to Daniel Best on October 19, 1952 in Holden, MO. She was a member of the Friendly Baptist Church in Tyler, TX and was a former member of the Plaza Heights Baptist Church in Blue Springs, MO. She Worked as a Book Keeper for Western Auto in Kansas City, MO.
Lois is survived by her two sons, Michael (Vicki) Best of Tyler, TX and Alan (Denise) Best of Odessa, MO; brother, Ronald (Shirley) Phelps of Springfield, MO; grandchildren, Mistie (Jason) Soward of Cooper, TX, Shanna Best of Tyler, TX, Andrea (Austin) Mallott of Blue Springs, MO, Jarrod Best of Odessa, MO; great-grandchild, Charlotte Soward of Cooper, TX.
