Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late David and Marjorie (Smith) Pierson.
Mrs. Harvey worked at the University of Rhode Island for many years before retiring. She enjoyed reading and cooking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves three children, Keith Harvey, Karen Roderick and Kimberly White; three brothers, David, Neil and Steve Pierson; four sisters, Sylvia Whaley, Linda Coble, Janice Hannaford and Brenda Keys; and her five beloved grandchildren, Kristi and Kevin White, Kayla Harvey, Jessika and Zachary Roderick. She was the sister of the late Joseph and Kenny Pierson and Gail Duncan.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 11am in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.
