Teddy leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son David of Brandon, Manitoba; her nieces Ila (Lloyd) Lustig and Shirley (Ron) Glass of Prince Albert and many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Roy in 1976; her parents Cicely and Amos Plaxton; her sisters Cicely Plaxton Jr., Jennie Sproule, Betty MacLeod, Rae McLellan, Mary Grant and Ruth Plaxton. Teddy’s uncle, Honoré Jaxon was secretary to Louis Riel during the 1885 North West Resistance. Her uncle, Eastwood Jackson was the first pharmacist in the Prince Albert region in the 1880’s. Teddy was born in the Colleston district just east of Prince Albert. She grew up in Prince Albert attending Prince Edward School and Prince Albert Collegiate Institute. She worked in Morgans women’s clothing store for several years. Teddy enjoyed reading, gardening, volunteering for the Salvation Army Thrift Store, Canadian Cancer Society and the Prince Albert Horticultural Society and Exhibition. She was active in the Women’s Institute (Homemakers Club). She and Roy travelled extensively in their senior years.
