Daughter of blacksmith, James N Napier (Dec 1862-?) and his first wife, Laura M Anderson, who were married on 29 Feb 1888 in Cherokee Georgia
Sister of Durward Napier (1889-1958)

Step-daughter of James Napier's second wife, Mattie E McIntyre (13 Jun 1874-8 Jul 1962), who were married in Cherokee Georgia on 19 Nov 1893.
Half-sister of :
Charles L(1894-1976), William(1896-1970), Hattie (b Jun 1898-?), James M (1900-?), Grace A(1906-?), and possibly Ernest Mayes (1912-1979)

The family lived on Roswell St in Marietta Georgia during the 1900 US Census, and by the May 1910 Census, her father had rented a farm in Grayson County, Texas.

On 24 Feb 1915 at Huntington Park, Los Angeles County, California, Mary Helen Napier was married to Albert Edward Plaxton.
Children: Thelma Jean (Paxton) Copeland (4 Oct 1917-17 Jan 1989), Albert E Paxton Jr (1921-2002), Herbert Paul Plaxton (1924-1990)

They lived in Ravenna Texas in 1917.

By late January 1920, Albert 34, and Mary 28, with daughter Thelma 2 2/12, were working a farm in Mulhall Township, Logan County, Oklahoma, along with Mary's brother William 23, and his wife Lula 23.

However, by April 1930, they had moved back to California, purchasing a home at 3728 E 5th St, in Montebello, Los Angeles County. Her husband Albert worked as foreman on the electric Los Angeles Railroad. Children, Thelma, 12, Albert Jr 8 8/12, and Herbert 5 6/12 were attending school during that census.

They continued to live in Montebello thru at least April 1942, when her husband Albert passed away. On 8 July 1942, Mary Helen Paxton became a "repatriated" citizen.
