Mrs. Podres was born on October 23rd 1935 in Port Henry, N.Y., she was the daughter of Harold "Pio" Thomas and Julia (Canning) Callahan.
She was the beloved wife of William “Bill” Bernard Podres Sr. Together they had five children; four daughters and one son.
She was a longtime resident of Savannah, Ga. and was a communicant of the St. James Catholic Church.
Surviving include her husband, five children, two sisters, one brother, 11 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah, Ga.
