She was born on February 29th 1912 in Witherbee, N.Y., the daughter of George and Julia Jacobs.
She completed her education at the 8th grade level in Mineville, N.Y. so that she could earn money to help support her family.
Julia’s hobbies included playing cards, yardwork and even shoveling snow well into her 102 years, bowling in her younger years, spending time with her family, her camp, going to church, reading her bible and doing exercises.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Stephen and her son Stephen “Junior”. Also her brothers Alec and George, sister Theresa “Tess” and Rose.
Arrangements by the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry, N.Y.
Funeral services will be at the Mt. Moriah Presbyterian Church in Port Henry at 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 3rd.
Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in Port Henry, N.Y.
