Theresa M. Granieri, 82, of Ferry Avenue, a former restaurant owner, died Tuesday (April 4, 1989) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Viggiano, Italy, she came here in 1923.

Mrs. Granieri was proprietor of the Spaghetti House restaurant on Second Street in the 1930s and 1940s. It was later turned into a tourist home in the 1950s, which she also owned.

She was a Republican Party committeewoman, a member of the Cristoforo Colombo Women's Society and was active in Civil Defense during World War II.

Survivors include her husband, Frank D. Granieri; a son, Emil Lorenti; two daughters, Angeline Smith of North Tonawanda and Sheila Serianni of Buffalo; a sister, Jean Henderson; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

A memorial Eucharistic Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Rainbow Boulevard and Second Street.

Burial will be in Memorial Park, Lewiston.
