Services held for Eva Joy Adams
Eva Joy Adams, 86, died November 28 at her home on Bottom Fork at Mayking.
A daughter of the late Jim Henry and Ritter Elizabeth Webb Polly, she was a sister of the late Roy Dean Polly, Carlos Gene Polly and Darrell Wood Polly.
Surviving are her partner, Cossie Adams; two daughters: Barbara Wagner and husband Charles, and Maggie Sexton; four grandchildren, Chuck Wagner and wife Renee, Hope Browning and husband Sean, James Gearheart and wife Christina, and John Tackett and wife Carrie; 12 great-grandchildren, Christian, Ally, Katie, Jesse, Matthew, Justin, Constance, James, Bradley, Hayden, Maison and Allyssa; two brothers: Donald Polly and wife Virginia, and Stephen Polly; and two sisters, Glenna Mae Hicks and Geneviee Fitzpatrick.
Funeral services were held December 1 at the Thornton Old Regular Baptist Church at Mayking. Burial was in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking.
Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.
