Marian Benjamin
SAUGERTIES- Marian Benjamin, 94, a member of Saugerties Senior Citizen Club No. 2 and a life member of the VFW Auxiliary, died on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at Benedictine Hospital in Kingston.
Born Feb. 12, 1912, in Windham, she was the daughter of the late Eri and Minetta Irish Pond.
Her husband, Timothy Benjamin, died in 1978.
Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn Fellows of New Paltz, Elnora Thorne of Saugerties and Lorraine Ferraro of Catskill; three sons, Gilbert of Jacksonville, Fla., and William and Lewis of Dover, Del.; and 40 grandchildren, 96 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Harriet, and a son, Reginald, three brothers and 13 sisters, died previously.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Buono Funeral Service Inc., Main Street Chapel. Burial will be in New Paltz Cemetery.
