Originally buried in Cannonsville Cemetery, Delaware County, New York. Remains were disinterred and removed to Walton Cemetery in 1963 during the construction of Cannonsville Reservoir under the direction of her daughter, Mrs. Celia B. Moore.

Mrs. John Blencoe died at her home at Kelsey Saturday, aged 50 years. She is survived by her husband and eight children. The funeral was held Monday at 11 o'clock at the Cannonsville M.E. Church. The services were conducted under the direction of Howard Rebekah Lodge, of which she was a prominent member. The bearers were Edward Christian, Joseph Peaslee, L.G. Carpenter, Thomas Drury, Fred Lakin and Fred Crandall. Burial was in Cannonsville Cemetery.
