WWI US Army veteran. Enlisted 12 August 1914 in Washington, D.C. and reported for duty to Washington. Assigned to Battery "A," 110th F.A. Sailed for foreign duty on 27 June 1918 from Baltimore, Maryland on the Steamship Keemun. Returned on 21 May 1919 on the Steamship Orizaba, landing at Newport News, Virginia. Received a Very Good discharge on 2 June 1919 at the rank of Corporal.
