Funeral Services will be conducted Friday for Mrs. Viola Melvina BOWEN, 65, who died here Wednesday. Mrs. BOWEN, a member of the Baptist Church, was born at Grand Island, Nebraska on August 31, 1880, and is survived by ten children , twenty-two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be read at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Macy & Son. The body will be sent to Gage, Oklahoma.
Children surviving are Merle W. BOWEN of Breybull, Wyoming; Charles BOWEN, Inyokern, California; Glen BOWEN, Bishop, California; Arthur BOWEN, Vancouver, Washington; Clarence BOWEN, Zenith, Kansas; Mrs. Blanche SCHWARTZ, Gage, Oklahoma; Mrs. Viola FOX and Mrs. Mattie JONES, McMinnville; Mrs. Lorraine STEINHOFF, San Francisco and Mrs. Hazel CREWSELL, Yamkima, Washington. A sister, Mrs. Mary NORTH of Gage also survives.
