They had a daughter Katie and then John died very young in Manhattan, New York where he may have owned a drug store.
Charlotte and Katie then went to live in Hudson, New York with John's older sisters Elizabeth and Sophia Peake who ran a girls' school in Hudson, New York on Warren Street. After Charlotte died, Katie continuted to live with her aunts. She married John Wilson of Brooklyn at Hudson, New York and later lived in Brooklyn, New York.
