Iva Eathel Price, 99, of Fort Scott, Kan., died Wednesday morning, May 9, 2012, at the Franklin House Care Home. Iva was born Oct. 13, 1912, in Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of Alfred Henry and Grace Matilda (Hixon) Hencey. She married John Ray Price Oct. 29, 1932, in Fort Scott. He preceded her in death Feb. 12, 2000. In addition to her husband John, Iva was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Irene May Hencey, and a brother, Jack Murphy Hencey.
