She was the daughter of the late James Benjamin Prince and Lula Mae Eley prince. She was a member of Dunson Baptist Church and was employed at Playtex as a seamtress before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard Clegg
Survivors include her son Gerald Clegg; daughter Ellen (Tom) Steele granddaughter Polly Griesbach; two brothers J. B. and Wayne Prince.
Funeral service at Striffler Hamby with Revs. Marc Eichelberger and Neil Awbrey officiating. Burial in Shadowlawn Cemetery
