CHARLES S. PRUDEN
Passed away peacefully at his residence, on Tuesday, November 11, 1980, Mr. Charles Stewart Pruden, aged 79 years, of Petersfield, Manitoba, dearly beloved husband of Maureen Pruden.
Funeral services will be held in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk on Thursday, November 13, at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Father Robert Willingham officiating. Cremation to follow.
Mr. Pruden, who had been a life long resident of Petersfield was born on January 28, 1901, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Peter Pruden.
He farmed at Petersfield until his retirement and was a former member of the Manitoba Pool Elevators, the Norwood School Board and the Duunhartwood Hall Board.
He leaves to mourn his passing and will be very dearly missed by his loving wife Maureen; three sons, Ponohoe Charles and wife Pat of Selkirk, John Peter and and wife Barbara of Petersfield, Richard Kenneth and wife Roberta of Petersfield, two daughters; Carole Lynn and husband Bill Arp, of Toronto, and Jane Ann of Winnipeg; his grandchildren; Tory, Jason, Peter, Brant, Cathy, Bradley, and Anke.
