Donna was born on December 23, 1923 in Corydon, IA to Lola (Henry) and Alva Webber. She grew up in Des Moines with her sister Maxine playing tennis and was very active with roller skating as well as jumping rope at North High School, where she graduated from in 1942.
She married Keith E. Prugh Jr. on June 1, 1947 and had 3 daughters, Nancy (Mike) Baker, Becky (Cal) Arthur, and Cheryl (Bruce) Surber.
She worked at Banker's Life and Tech High School Library in Des Moines before retiring to Perry where she took up oil painting and continued her collection of music boxes among other things. She also became a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and Ladies Aid. She was a long time member of the Des Moines Eastern Star.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, niece, and nephew.
She is survived by her three daughters, six grandchildren Ron (Melody) Steilen, Toby (Roxanne) Baker, Tricia (Marcus) Draper, Carly Ravnikar, Allison Surber, David (Amber) Arthur; eight great-grandchildren, Zach (Kodi) Steilen, Hannah, Samuel, and Bethany Steilen, Logan Draper, Aryn Baker, Sullivan Ravnikar, Benjamin and Noah Arthur.
A celebration of life will begin with a visitation from 12 – 1p.m. Saturday, December 10, followed by a service at 1 p.m. at Iles-Westover Chapel, with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church or Rowley Masonic Community.
