Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2003; as well as her parents and all of her sisters and their husbands.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Charles McCarty and his wife, Dolores; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great nephews as well as great-great nieces/nephews and cousins.
Her nieces and nephews have many fond memories of Aunt Dot: fishing on Current River, teaching them how to sew and knit, watching birds outside her windows, as well as tasting all the dishes she would bring to Thanksgiving Dinner.
Dot will be missed by her family as well as the many caregivers who helped her in her last few years of life. For these wonderful people, her family is grateful.
