Kathryn and spouse, William Savage Keating, Jr. known as 'Bill' lived in El Centro, California a number of years after their marriage. They had two children and Kathryn was a homemaker and Bill a policeman with the El Centro Police Department. The family moved to San Diego, California before World War II where Kathryn worked in a war plant during the war. She was an active member of the Methodist Church through the years and belonged to a bridge club. She and Bill enjoyed camping out and traveled extensive in their pickup camper. They became actively engaged with their grandchildren when they arrived. After Bill's unexpected and fatal heart attack in 1979, Kathryn continued living in their home in San Diego and lived an active life until her death years later.
