Mrs. Anna E. Olson, age 82, of 12866 Abbott Court, Garden Grove, Calif., and a former resident of Chippewa Falls, died Monday in California.

She was born Anna Rand on July 8, 1892, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George M. Rand. She married Wilson R. Olson on June 24, 1911, in Chippewa Falls, where they lived until moving to California after World War Two. Mr. and Mrs. Olson returned to the Eau Claire-Chippewa Falls area in 1955. In 1970, Mrs. Olson moved to her present address in California. She was a member of Central Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid, and various organizations of the church.

Mrs. Olson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Elaine) Welton, Garden Grove; three sons, Raymond W., Union Lake, Mich., George M., Castro Valley, Calif., and Warren R., Eau Claire; six sisters, Mrs. Netta Gore, Wayzata, Minn., Mrs. W.E. (Jennie) Kern, Jim Falls, Mrs. Hans J. (Signe) Olson, Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Emmett (Ellen) Van Tassel, Jim Falls, and Mrs. Orrin (Lillian) Anderson and Mrs. Lester (Barbara) Kelly, both of Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, George M. Rand, Radison, and Marvin J. Rand, Milwaukee; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband [...] in 1958; and one brother, Matt.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Central Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Ericksen officiating. Burial will be in the family lot of Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogseth-Pederson Funeral chapel on Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 11 a.m., and then at the church until time of services.
