She was a member of Sharpe Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Irvan Bailey; a grandson, Chad Wright; her parents, Bernard Ray and Ruby Rickman Ray Smith; her stepfather, Hobert Smith; a brother, Kenneth Smith; and two sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Cathey Wright, her husband, Larry Bailey, Louisville; a son, Paul Bailey, wife, Anne, of North Reading, Mass.; two grandsons, David Bailey, New York, and Joseph Bailey, Medford, Mass.; and a brother, Bob Ray, Paducah. The funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, with interment in Marshall County Memory Gardens, Benton. The Rev. Chris Moore, the Rev. Marlin Mitchell and Kevin Royalty will officiate. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Kentucky Baptist Homes for Children, Sunrise Childrens Services, 300 Hope St., Mount Washington, KY 40047.
