CONN Betty Jane Conn, 92, of Somerset, formerly of Confluence, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Meyersdale Medical Center. She was born August 14, 1923 in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, a daughter of Henry and Leeta (Pope) Reeves. Her parents, husband, Richard D. Conn, brothers, Leonard and William Reeves and sisters, Verna Reeves and Alta Mitchell preceded her in death. She is survived by two sisters, Rita Heinlein, Greensburg and Faye Waters, Wexford and a brother, Richard Reeves, Cleveland, Ohio; also nieces and nephews. At one time she was employed at Kurtz’ store in Confluence, the present location of Confluence Cyclery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday (today) at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where a service will be held at 11 AM Saturday with Rev. Dean Hay, Jr. officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
