Born March 1, 1941, in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Anastasia) Ricca, and has been a life long resident of Westport. She loved to read, cook and spend time with family and loved ones.
Survivors, in addition to her husband of 51 years, include a god daughter, Patty McCormick and her husband Mike; a god son, Thomas MacDonald; sisters-in-law, Marylee Rotella and her husband Angelo of Westport, Pam Fortner and her husband Mark of New Hampshire, Phyllis Denke and Janet Denke, all of Westport; brother-in-law, Donald Denke of Bridgeport, and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, in Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, 73 Greens Farms Road. There is no visitation. The Harding Funeral Home is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County, P.O. Box 489, Wilton, CT 06897.
