Sandy Jones was born in Davenport, Iowa on February 26, 1949, a daughter of Christ and Emma Rich. On April 6, 1968, she married Ronald (Squeek) Jones in Davenport, IA and celebrated 45 years of marriage this year.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald (Squeek) Jones, two Daughters: Cindy Jones and Shawn Agan of Davenport, IA, Jennifer Quandt and Troy Rupp of Davenport, IA; 6 Grandchildren: Alexis, Aubrey, Kaitlyn, Jeremy, Richy, Kayla and Tony, 1 great grandchild, Morgan. Sandy is also survived by 3 sisters, Kathy, Patti, Linda and 4 brothers, Larry, David, Tom and Mark. In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her son in law, Richard Quandt.
Sandy retired from Cardiovascular Medicine P.C. in Davenport, Iowa in October 2007, where she served as front office manager for 15 years. She loved her job and the people she worked with. Following retirement Sandy and Squeek relocated to Inverness, Florida. Sandy loved the warm sun, beaches, reading books, and most of all, life. She cherished her time with her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends.
Sandy sends a special thanks to her best friends in Florida, Connie (Life long BFF) and Doug Lobell, Joan (Angel BFF) and Bob Parker, Betsy King (5 year BFF), Ilene Ryan, and Jim and Caroline Mitchell.
Sandy was involved the American Bowling Congress and served as a volunteer at Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, Florida.
