Age 71, passed Monday, November 8, 2010. He was a graduated from Tolleston School, class of 1958. He retired from USX Steel Mill after working 38 years as a licensed electrician. He was the President of The Ghetto Getters Social Club when that organization folded, he became president of the Will Barnes Senior Social Club until his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother Minnie Upshaw, Stepfather Robert Upshaw. He leaves to cherish his memories sister, Gladys (Willie) Parker; daughters, Valana (Daryl) Hillard, Eunice Richards, Lolita Richards and Tawanna (Sean) Rodgers; sons, Harry, Breon, Arthur and JaQuan (Latwanna) Richards; 21 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; a very dedicated partner, Jacqueline Jones; a special daughter, Linda Laster; special friend, Eugene McCullogh; special son, Calvin Watkins; host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Sunday, November 14, 2010, 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Funeral November 15, 2010, 1:00 p.m. All services at Powell-Coleman Funeral Home, 3200 W. 15Th Ave. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
