Murray C. "Thunderbolt" Richards Sr., Age 78 born on May 30, 1934 in McComb, MS passed away October 8, 2012. Murray was retired from U.S. Steel and Allied Tube. He was a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one grandson. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years, Mary L. Richards, 3 sons, Murray Jr., Ronald (Sheree) Richards of Gary, IN; and Donald (Michell) Richards of Memphis, TN; one daughter, Joyce Thomas of Memphis, TN; 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives. Visitation Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 9-11:00am at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church, 977 Chase St. Funeral will be immediately following at 11:00am. Pastor Charles Adams Jr., Officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
