Melinda Sue Blair, 54, of South Bend, IN passed away at 4:50 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2012 in her home. She was born on April 24, 1958 in Lakeville, IN to Earl Louis and Julia (Shirley) Richard. On October 12, 1992 in Plymouth, IN, she married Paul W. Blair Jr. who survives.
Mrs. Blair is also survived by a daughter, Amy L. Walker of South Bend, IN; six sons, Eric W. Walker of Fish Lake, IN, Aaron J. Blair of South Bend, IN, Richard A. Blair of CO, Donald G. Blair of Indianapolis, IN, Scott E. Blair of White Pigeon, MI and Joseph J. Blair of Mishawaka, IN; seventeen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Terri Ann Lee of Plymouth, IN and three brothers, Randy J. Richard of Goshen, IN, Gary L. Richard of LaPaz, IN and Mark T. Richard of LaPorte, IN.
Mrs. Blair was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1976 graduate of Laville High School. She was a former employee of Portage Liquor Mart. She enjoyed cross stitching.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012 in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
