Sara Margaret Ridgeway Alewine, 92, died December 3, 2015 at her home.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late David Ragsdale and Sadie Marie Ballentine Ridgeway, she was a housewife and mother and a member of Taylors First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Lee Alewine of the home; two daughters, Libby Thruston (John) of Greenville and Anne Alewine of Taylors; one granddaughter, Amy Griffith (Chance); and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Alewine was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Tom Ridgeway.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Taylors First Baptist Church Chapel, conducted by Dr. Jimmie Harley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1:00-2:15 p.m. Saturday at Taylors First Baptist Church Welcome Center.

The family is at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Taylors First Baptist Church Preschool/Kindergarten Department, 200 W. Main St., Taylors, SC 29687.
