Daisy Viola's parents are Arthur Ridgway and Mae Belott. She graduated in 1925 from Polytechnic High School in Los Angeles.

She married Oscar Gustav Anderson on June 1, 1929 in Los Angeles. He preceded her in death in 1991. Oscar was born in Oakland, California on 21 February 1908 and passed away on 5 September 1991 in Los Angeles.

Daisy was a devoted mother and homemaker who enjoyed sewing, morning walks, gardening, baking, traveling with seniors, music, dancing, and her family & friends. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the PTA, and the Salvation Army in Los Angeles, California.

Survivors include her son Leroy & Linda (Nares) Anderson of Carlsbad, California; daughter Cathy and Dennis Moen of Port Orchard; grandchildren Kristie Anderson, Karen Anderson, Tricia Moen & Anne (Moen) Fowler; great-grandchildren Felicity Fowler and Madelyn Newcomer. She was preceded in death by sisters Georgie Lovelady and Katherine Chase.
