Diane Dittmer Ridley, age 83, passed away peacefully on the 21st of June 2012.
Diane was born on the 18th of October 1928 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jewell Garrett and Albert E. Dittmer. She attended Southern Methodist University. In April of 1951 Diane married Robert K. Ridley who preceded her in death in 2008.
Diane was a long time member of St. John the Divine Episcopal Church. She and her late husband Bob were not only devoted to their family, but to a close group of friends they enjoyed for more than half a century, by celebrating their friendship each month at "Supper Club", a monthly dinner hosted by one couple of the group.
A memorial service is to be conducted at three o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 25th of June, in the Chapel of the Church of St. John the Divine, 2450 River Oaks Boulevard in Houston, where the Rev. Dr. Laurens A. Hall, Rector, and the Rev. Douglas W. Richnow, Senior Associate Rector, are to officiate.
