Anna Robbins ~ The estimable wife of ex-Sheriff Clayton Robbins, after a long period of suffering from a cancerous affection, died at her home in this town at an early hour yesterday morning. She was the daughter of the late John Grant of Bayville, and was about 49 years of age. A woman of rare worth, she will be greatly missed by her husband and only daughter as well as by a large circle of friends throughout the county. Her funeral will take place tomorrow at 11 am at the home of the family on Water Street. (Source: NJ Courier 5/13/1885.)
