Charlotte Estella Robbins was born 9 NOV 1907 in Decatur County, Indiana to James Oliver and Charlotte Isabel GLENN ROBBINS.
She died 28 JAN 1997 in Clarksburg, Decatur County, IN.

She married Thurman Earl Baker in 27 JUN 1931 in Rushville, Rush County, IN.

Charlotte was a beautiful person, inside and out. She truly gave her all for her family and loved ones. I spent many Sundays in her Sunday School class at Clarksburg Wesleyan Church. She was always caring and considerate and brought enthusiasm to every lesson she taught.

CHARLOTTE BAKER, 89

Charlotte E Baker, 89, of P O Box 36, Clarksburg, died at 5:45 Tuesday, Jan 28, 1997 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.

Born Nov. 9, 1907, in Decatur County, she was the daughter of Oliver and Isabell (Glenn) Robbins. She lived most of her life in Decatur and Franklin counties. She was a 1924 graduate of Laurel High School. She was a member of the Clarksburg Wesleyan Church. She married Thurman E Baker on June 27, 1931, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 1987.

Surviving are four sons: David N Baker of East Moline, Ill, Marion Baker of Litchfield Park, AZ, Gerald Baker of Buena Park, Calif, Irvin Baker of Andersonville; three daughter, Esther Emerson of Vincennes, Janet Feightner of Hazelton, Jeannie Cox of Clarksburg. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was precede in death by three sisters, one grandson, and five brothers.

Services are pending, but will be held at the Clarksburg Wesleyan Church. Visitation is also pending, but will be at Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville.
