MRS. BEST, 51, DIES ON COAST
Wife of Retired Naval Officer Succumbs to Heart Trouble - To Be Buried Here

Mrs. James Best, 51 years old, a former resident of Greensburg, died at her home at 950 Ninth street, San Diego, Calif., on Tuesday, Nov. 3, according to word received here by her brother, Barney H. Robbins. The death of Mrs. Best followed an illness of heart trouble with which she had been afflicted for some time.

The maiden name of the deceased was Ollie Robbins. She was the daughter of William and Mary Connell Robbins and was born in Greensburg on April 18, 1885. She was a member of the Greensburg Baptist church and a former resident who will be remembered by a large group of friends in Greensburg.

Following her marriage to James Best in 1921 she had made her home the major portion of the time at San Diego, Calif. Her husband was retired as an officer of the United States Navy las December, after having served in the Navy for 21 years.

Surviving Mrs. Best are her husband, James Best; one brother, Barney H. Robbins, of Greensburg; a half-brother, John Robbins of Fort Collins, Colo.; a half-sister, Mrs. Kate Yater, of Nebraska, Ind., and a niece, Miss Helen Dean Robbins, of Greensburg.

The body is scheduled to arrive in Greensburg Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and will be taken to the home of the brother at 202 West McKee street. Friends may call at the Robbins home after 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon, it was stated.

Funeral services will be held at the Barney H. Robbins home Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. J.F. Mitchell, pastor of the Greensburg Baptist church, will officiate and burial will be in South Park cemetery.
