She was born in Tell City, Indiana on December 1, 1932 to the late Nathaniel and Josephine (Cook) Robbins. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Roy “Junior” Beard and her son, Michael Beard.
Dorothy had retired from Commercial Filters and was a member of Troy Christian Church. She was an avid fan of college basketball, especially IU. She enjoyed talking on the phone and visiting with friends.
