Funeral Services for Elmo Robertson, 27, who was killed in an automobile accident near Salinas Saturday night, were conducted from the Holiness church in this city at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with Rev. J. C. Robertson officiating. Interment was made in the Exeter Cemetery. The Hadley parlors of this city had charge of the funeral arrangements.
Mr. Robertson was riding in a coupe with Lewis Harrison of Exeter at the time of the accident. Mr. Harrison received minor cuts and bruises. The driver of the other car, whose name has not been learned in Exeter, was very seriously injured and is now being treated in a Salinas hospital.
An inquest is to be held in Salinas.
Mr. Robertson was born in Texas where he attended grammer school and for the past six years had made his home in Exeter.
The survivors are:
The father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs B. F. Robertson of Exeter; one brother, J. D. Robertson of Salinas; three sisters, Mrs. Chas. Needham of Exeter, Mrs. Tom Rudd of Exeter, and Mrs. Mae Crow of Visalia; one half-sister, Lorene Robertson of Exeter; one step-brother, Herbert J. Ragsdale and one step-sister, Mary T. Ragsdale both of Exeter.
