Thursday April 16, 1961 - Mrs. Mary Barley - Mrs. Mary Barley, age 83, died late Saturday at her home in the Old Washington Community near here. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Harry Revis, Miss Altha Barley and Miss Viola Barley; two sons Robert Barley and James T. Barley, all of Route 1, Dayton; two sisters, Mrs. Richard Revis and Mrs. George Jewell, both of Dayton; a brother Will Roddy, Daisy; 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Old Washington Baptist Church with the Rev. C. E. McDonald and the Rev. George Wilkey officiating. Interment was in the Spence cemetery with Sawyers in charge.
