Mrs. Applebee was an active Red Cross worker during the war, and also has been engaged in much of the organization's benefit work carried on in Syracuse. She is survived, besides her husband, by her mother, Mrs. Emmeline E. Roddy, and a sister, Miss Edith J. Roddy, both of Meadville.
