He married Anatol Carridad Reeves, daughter of C. H. Reeves, at The Bishop's Chapel on September 3, 1942. She was a teacher. Two children were born of this union: Patricia and Kenneth Rodgers.
Passenger manifests suggest that Dr. Rodgers and his family emigrated to the United States in 1946.
