Mr. LaJaun Vincent Rose, a native of Omaha, Nebraska, Mobile, AL and Louisville, Kentucky expired on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. William Rose and Mrs. Marian Parker Rose, his paternal grandparents, Mr. James E. Parker and Mrs. Louise (Way) Parker, devoted uncles, Mr. Vincent R. Parker and Mr. Joseph Leroy Davis, devoted aunt, Mrs. Morris Jean (Jeannie) Davis. LaJuan was baptized at Lily Baptist Church by the late Rev. Julius Williams and ardently and actively attended church until he joined the United States Army and later transition to Kentucky. His educational background consisted of his attending A.F Owens Elementary School, Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Middle School and McGill-Toolen High School where he played football-position, Line Backer. He matriculated at Ala. State University, Montgomery, AL and Faulkner State College in Mobile, AL. His loving and devoted survivors include his sister, nephew, aunts, great aunt, numerous cousins inclusively, the Skinner family of California, the Cook family, the Crawford Family and the Lang Family of Mobile, AL; devoted cousins, Rev. John D. French, Jr., Michael L. French, Joseph French, Coyle French and Andre French; friends since childhood, Mr. Davon Grey and Robert Anthonty (Tony) King; special friends, Sharon Johnson West, Mrs. Frances P. Grey and attorney, Guy Hibbs of Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Lily Baptist Church 358 Kennedy St. Mobile, AL. Interment will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 12:30pm at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL. Officiating, Rev. Donnie Powell, pastor, Rev. Chester Battle, associate pastor and U.S. Army representatives. DIGNIFIEED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL'S MORTUARY 950 SOUTH BROAD STREET MOBILE, AL. 36603. Condolences maybe offered
