Mrs. Mary Rose Succumbs Here
Mrs. Mary L. Rose, 77, widow of W. W. Rose, died today at 3:25 a.m. in Decatur General Hospital where she had been a patient for the past six days. She suffered a cerebral hemorrhage.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Willie Johnson, Danville 3; two sons, Earl of Decatur and Hollis of Vicksburg, Miss.; three sisters Mrs. Freeman Brumbelow, Memphis, Mrs. Allie Brumbelow of Tyler, Tex. and Mrs. Sid Norris, Decatur; one brother, Shirley Gravett of Memphis; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body is to be returned to the residence at 1205 W. Moulton St. Wednesday. Funeral services are to be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Basham chapel on Danville Rd. by the Revs. W W. Lovett and G. M. Bynum.
Burial will be in Basham Chapel cemetery with Brown Funeral Home of Decatur directing.
Pallbearers are to be Hoyt Lane, Bernard and Wesley Jones, Gil Johnson, Junior White and Loyd Norris.
