Born in Ticonderoga, N.Y. on June 17th 1924, he was the son of the late Ralph and Ruth (Bevins) Ross.
Mr. Ross was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II as a pilot.
He flew in the military operation of the Berlin Airlift, which delivered supplies into West Berlin.
Donald has been a resident of Crown Point, N.Y. for most of his life and was a graduate of Crown Point High School.
He was employed as a Service Technician for Viking Engineering of Minneapolis, Minn., for many years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marie (Brock) Ross in 2005 and one daughter, Donna M. (Ross) Varmette Skinner in 2013.
A Graveside Service will take place at a later date.
