According to the 1900 US Census, Sarah had 5 children, 3 of whom were still alive by that census--Pearl (b.1892), Elva (1894) and Melvin Jr. (1895). The couple had three additional children--Dora, born in December of 1897 and who died on 24 July the following year, Dorothy (1903) and Raymond (1907) before Melvin died in 1909. On 27 Oct. 1917, Sarah married Isaiah Bliley who had been married twice before, the second marriage to Ida Lucinda Snyder Taylor (also her second marriage after marrying Arthur L. Taylor on 2 Oct. 1898, who must have died before 1910). Isaiah had a daughter Maude, born in 1913 from his marriage with Ida and she appears with Sarah and Isaiah and Sarah's son Raymond in the 1930 US Census.
