LEOLA ANGLESE, 94, of Harbor Crest Nursing Home in Fulton, IL, died Monday, February 13, 2017 at Harbor Crest.
Leola was born December 31, 1922 in Erie, IL to J. Glenn and Gladys I. (Stache) Rummel. She was educated in the Byers Grade School of rural Whiteside County and was a 1942 graduate of Erie High School. She married William P. Anglese on September 2, 1944 in Clinton, IA. He died May 9, 1991. Leola sold Tupperware for four years. She then worked in a grocery store in Albany, IL. Later she worked at General Electric Co. in Morrison, IL. Leola enjoyed going on bus trips.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Anglese of Sterling, IL and Sue (Steve) Van Oosten of Fulton, IL; one son, Chuck (Brenda) Anglese of Erie, IL; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Anglese of Albany, IL; eighteen grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; thirteen great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; three sons, Paul, Richard and Larry Anglese; one sister, Pearlene Doney; one brother, Gerald Rummel.
Funeral Service was held February 16, 2017 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with Rev. Rod Dye, Pastor of the Erie United Methodist Church, Erie, IL, officiating.
The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma –Renkes Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
IInternment is in Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL
