Lake, died early Sunday
morning at Morningside
Nursing Home, Sheboygan,
where she lived the past six
years.
The former Augusta Rummel,
she was born on Nov. 13,
1879 in Neerdorf, Germany.
She came to the United States
with her parents at the age of
two and settled in the Kewaskum
area.
On Oct. 5, 1897 she was
married to John P. Giese at
St. Luke Lutheran Church,
Kewaskum. The couple
farmed in the Kewaskum
area until 1919 when they
moved to the Random Lake
area. In 1929 they moved to
the Village of Random Lake.
Mr. Giese died in 1957.
Survivors are a son, John of
, Random Lake; eight
grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren.
Three daughters (Rosa b.1898,
Louisa J b. 1899 and Frieda Krautkramer),
a grandson,
and a great-granddaughter
preceded her in death.
Funeral services will on
Tuesday at St. John
Lutheran Church, Sherman
Center. The Rev. Herbert
Ries, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
