Sharon Lee Jerry, 53, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, March 10, 1998 at her home. She was born on February 5, 1945 in Rice Lake to LeRoy and Margaretta (Bently) Rummel and was raised in the Rice Lake area. She was married in Barronett on September 8, 1962 to Robert Jerry. Sharon lived in the Cumberland area since her marriage and worked for 15 years at the City Laundry in Cumberland. She was a member of the Barronett Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Jerry of Cumberland; five sons, Dean (Janet) Jerry of Barronett, John (Anna) Jerry of Columbia, Alabama, Kirk (Donna) Jerry of Spooner, Cory (Audrey) Jerry of Cumberland, and Charles Jerry of Cumberland; one daughter, Missy Jerry of Cameron; 13 grandchildren; her father, Mike Rummel of Shell Lake; three brothers, Ron Rummel of Horicon, LeRoy Rummel of Leander, Texas, and Mickey Rummel of Shell Lake; five sisters, Roxanne Tabb of Fullerton, California, Karen Kohl of Covina, California, Kathy Bedner of Shell Lake, and Susan Johnson and Dawn Quinton both of Spooner.
A memorial service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Barronett Lutheran Church, with Reverend Jon Simondson officiating.
Arrangements were handled by Skinner Funeral Home of Cumberland.
Funeral services for Tom Jerry were held at the Lutheran Church on Saturday afternoon, Reverend H. Johnson officiated. Our sympathy goes to the bereaved children.
