Mrs. W.W. Elder, 94, pioneer Heyworth resident, died at 9 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Charles W. Barniville, 710 South Main street, after a long illness from debilities of old age.
Mrs. Elder was born Dec. 28, 184, at Heyworth and lived there all of her life with the exception of the last two years, which she had spent at the home of her granddaughter. She was married to W.W. Elder in Heyworth 78 years ago Feb. 14. Mr. Elder died nine years ago.
She is survived by
one daughter, Mrs. Mae Ellsworth, 710 South Main street;
one sister, Mrs. Pemelia Loer, in Oakland, Calif.,
and two granddaughters,
Mrs. Barniville
and Mrs. Walter Trow, 301 West Monroe street.
Services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home, 710 South Main street.
