Entered into rest on June 27, 2012 at the age of 85. Loving and devoted husband of 60 years to the late Elaine M. Sa. Beloved father to Michael D. Sa, Judith M. Silva, and Timothy J. Sa. Loving grandfather to Michael C. Sa, Shawn M. Sa, Jeffery K. Miller, Jonathan M. Sa, Hayley K. Sa, and Kyle T. Sa. Loving brother to Mae Freitas, LaVerne Sa, Delores Homen, and the late Lorraine Sa. Dear uncle and godfather to many nieces and nephews.

A native of the Tri-City area, he spent his youth living and working on his parent's ranch. After graduating from Washington High School, he served briefly in the U.S. Army during WWII. Following his discharge, he began his long career as a truck driver and member of the Teamsters working for various firms such as Bigge Drayage, Mayfair Markets, and Lucky Stores.

He was a master craftsman with skills in many areas and spent much of his spare time woodworking. He especially enjoyed doing both large and small projects for his family and friends. Because of his devotion to his Catholic faith, he contributed his time and talents to Holy Spirit Church and was a long time parishioner of St. Joseph Church. He enjoyed golf, crossword puzzles, fishing, gardening, and other outdoor activities.

He dearly loved his family and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he kindly touched.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 5-8pm with a vigil at 7pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 6, 9am at Mission San Jose, 43300 Mission Blvd., Fremont, CA 94539. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
