She was born January 7, 1926 in Ridgeville, IN, the daughter of William and Mildred (Cline) Sanders.
Betty worked several years for Craig Trucking and retired from New Venture Gear. She also delivered flowers for Misty Flowers. Betty was a member of the Avondale Sympathy Club.
Survivors include one son, Gary Powers of Portland; two grandsons, Trever Powers of Noblesville and Travis Powers of Rochester, MI; two great-grandchildren, Destiny and Tyler Powers; one brother, William Sanders, Jr. (wife, Josephine) of Ridgeville; three nephews, Gale Sanders of Tennessee, Dale Sanders of Montana and Jeff Sanders of Tennessee; two nieces, Tina Cummins (husband, Dave) of Ridgeville and Leann Rewn of Albany.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
There will be no services or visitation. A graveside service will be held at Strong Cemetery at a later date.
