Dorothy Pearl Bond Sanderson, 71, Town Creek, died Thursday, March 20, 2014. Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 12-2 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 2 in the funeral home chapel with her brothers, Kenneth and Roger Bond Officiating. Burial will be at Poplar Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Sanderson was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and was a member of St. Louis Avenue Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James S. and Gladys P. Bond; son, Billy Ray Collins; brothers, James Edward and Billy Joe Bond; and sisters, Margaret "Gail" Stokes and Blanche Louise Wanner.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Ronnie O. Sanderson; daughters, Sheryl Lynn Smith, Theresa R. Mothershed and Elizabeth "Libby" Franklin and husband, David; brothers, Kenneth Bond and wife, Brenda and Roger Bond and wife, Peggy; five grandchildren, Traci Chapple and husband, Curtis, Tiffany Curtis and husband, Mark, Dusty Franklin and wife, Stephanie, Kala McMunn and husband, Jeremy and Bradley Franklin and wife, Misty; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include grandsons, Dustin Franklin, Curtis Chapple, Bradley Franklin, and Mark Curtis and great-grandsons, J.D. Price, Trevor Franklin, Chandler Price, Braxton Franklin and Nicholas Curtis
