Joyce Annette Sanderson Burns, 88, of Florence, passed away on November 10, 2018 at her son’s residence. She was a member of Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ.

Visitation will be at Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Justin Pannell officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Charles Burns; and her parents, John and Zoe Sanderson; brother, Greg Sanderson (Opal) and their children, Karen and John.

Survivors include her sons, John (Pam) Burns and Randy Burns; daughter, Sandy Gamble (Rick); brother-in-law, Jerry Burns and Dolores Burns; grandchildren, Cyd (Waylon) Olive, John (Erin) Olive, Rachel (Justin) Williams, Clark Burns, Daniel Burns and Charles Burns; great-grandchildren, Brett Rumph, Jack Carter Williams, Sarah Kate Williams, Gray Alexander Williams and Emilia Rose Olive.

Serving as pallbearers will be Clark Burns, Daniel Burns, Charles Burns, John Olive, Justin Williams, Rick Hamm, and Ken Springer.
